Welcome to the New FDBKA Website! 🐝

We're delighted to welcome you to the new website of Fareham & District Beekeepers' Association.

Our website has had a refresh, giving us a new home to share information about the association, our activities and events, and the wonderful world of beekeeping.

The previous website served FDBKA well for many years and contained a wealth of information built up by members of the association. A lot of time and effort went into maintaining it, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed to it over the years.

So, what's new?

The new website gives us an opportunity to bring together some of the information about FDBKA in a fresh and easy-to-navigate format.

You'll find information about membership, events, swarm collection and Asian hornets, as well as more about who we are and what we do.

For anyone thinking about taking up beekeeping, we're also developing information to help you understand what's involved, from getting started and choosing equipment to learning about the first year of keeping bees.

The website is still developing, and we'll be adding more content over the coming months.

We're planning to expand our beekeeping resources, add more educational material and provide additional information for our members. We'll also use the website to share news, stories and updates from around the association.

So don't be surprised if you see new things appearing as we continue to develop it.
